Another 6 Nations is upon us.Will Ireland make up for the dismal display in the World cup.
I hope so as I will be there in the Cusak Stand cheering them on.Will have to miss the BHAA Farmers Cross Country as I will be hugging a nice pint eagerly awaiting the match.

Raheny 5 mile Road Race.
What a brilliant race it was for the 24th AXA Insurance Raheny 5 Mile.
Over 2,000 athletes took to the streets of Raheny.This race just gets better and better each year.So well organised and even the weather was good.Well done to you all in Raheny.
Earlier in the day the juvenile races were great fun with over 300 entrants in the 800 metre race.
A fantastic win in the mens race in 23.37 by Vinny Mulvey of Raheny,Congratulations...
and another great win by Maria Mc Cambridge in the Ladies race in a time of 26.20.

jack and Jill Run up the hill 10 K.in conjunction with Kenmare Triathlon club

We have been in touch with John in Kenmare and he has asked us to promote this wonderful race in aid of the amazing Jack & Jill foundation. Give us your thoughts on this.......
There is a sponsored Run Up the Hill being organised to take place in Kenmare, Co Kerry at 3pm on Saturday, April 12th 2008. This will be a 10k charity run/walk in the scenic surroundings of Kenmare town. All monies raised in the event are to be donated to the Foundation.
The race is being organised by the Kenmare Triathlon Club with the help from many others. Entry fee will be €30 which will be collected from each entrant and a t-shirt will be provided for each person participating in the race.

The use of sponsorship cards is therefore not required. It is open to runners and walkers of all ages (under 16 free but to be accompanied).
The run is on Saturday afternoon at 3pm and starts in the Square, Kenmare, it follows The Kerry Way and Old Killarney Road out of the town, rises to over 600ft in the first 2k and then it's all downhill back to town!!!

Tony Mangan fantastic win in Across the Years 72 hour race
Congratulations to Pearl Izumi kit Sponsored Athlete Tony Mangan in his awesome win in the Across the Years 72 Hour race.
Tony Mangan won with a total of 440.5km. Second was John Geesler with 403 km and third was Glen Turner with 379km.
Tony achieved a fantastic win and and Indoor world record at Brno last year so what a fantastic 2007 for this incredible athlete.
Tony wore the Pearl Izumi Kit throughout the 72 hours and can be seen by following this link.
